Wednesday deals...

First, we have our first Triple Coupon promotion from Harris Teeter I probably close to two years. Go nuts! It’s also a really good week for deals on laundry detergent, especially if you have a few copies of that $2 Wisk coupon from May 15. Look for bottles in the $1 to $2 range, which is a fine price for stocking up.

It’s also a good week for stocking up on picnic supplies. There are lots of deals on hot dogs, potato chips, condiments and other items found in a typical picnic basket.

Finally, I just want to remind you all that even though this is my last week doing Wednesday deals, it is NOT going away. We are still working out a few details, but I hope to be able to share our full plans with you soon. Rest assured that we do not plan to get rid of this feature any time soon, or the coupon database. Thank you all for making these two posts so popular over the years.

Deal of the week: Speaking of Wisk, the best price this week is at Kroger, where bottles are $2.99. Add the $2 coupon and that becomes 99 cents!

The e-rewards deal this week is a bottle of Gain or Cheer laundry detergent for $3.99 (limit 1). There were coupons for both on April 17, though the Cheer coupon offers the better deal. Remember you must sign up on the Lowes Foods website to get these deals.

*Lowes is having a three-day sale this weekend starting Friday morning. Light beer, Kraft dressing (the small bottles, coupon doesn’t apply!) and other condiments are the highlights, though there are no coupons to match.

*The items needed for Smores are all on sale this week, and you can use the $1 when you buy three coupon from May 15. But keep reading. Some of the pharmacies have some great Smores deals this week.

*Cheerios are $2.50 and there was a $1 off three coupon on May 1.

*Kit & Kaboodle is BOGO and there was a $1 coupon on May 8. If you use two coupons that works out to two for about $3.

*Beggin Strips are also BOGO and there was a $1 coupon on Feb. 20 (expires May 20!)

*Tidy Cats cat litter is BOGO (the smaller bags, not the tubs or pails) and there was a $1 coupon on May 1.

*There are a couple of deals from the bakery and the deli that you could look for if you are planning a party, and a special coupon for buy two get one free Hallmark graduation cards in this week’s flier.
